How to Wash Your Waxed Cotton Bag

Our bags are made from premium British waxed cotton that's designed to be machine washable while retaining its soft feel and water-resistant finish.
Washing Instructions
To care for your bag:
- Machine wash on a cool 30°C cycle
- Use a non-biological detergent
- Wash with similar colours
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Hang or line dry naturally
- If needed, iron on a low heat from the inside to smooth creases
Will Washing Damage My Bag?
No. Our waxed cotton has been developed to be machine washable, so you can confidently clean your bag whenever it needs refreshing.
Like all natural fabrics, your bag will develop character over time. Soft creases, subtle marks and gentle fading are all part of what makes each bag unique.
Can I Restore the Water Resistance?
With years of regular use, the water-resistant finish may naturally reduce. If this happens, you can easily restore it using a wax reproofing product suitable for waxed cotton fabrics.
