The Contents Pouch Blog
The Contents Pouch has a story of its own. It was born for two reasons: Practicality and Sustainability.
Practicality: The Contents Bag and Mini Contents Bags are simple, open and roomy tote bags. There are no pockets or sections, which makes them extremely versatile and foldable. However, smaller items and valuable items can get lost in a bag of this nature. Enter The Contents Pouch, a simple zippered pouch to hold and consolidate your smaller, personal items. (The A4 size is perfect for this usage)
And should you want to organize yourself with gym kit, laptop, lunch, you name it – the A3 size is fantastic. There are matching pouches for every bag design, but I personally love to mix and match across prints.
Sustainability: The Contents Pouch size and shape was designed to optimize fabric usage during production. We cut the bags in one piece instead of multiple jigsaw pieces, which makes the bags SUPER strong. But it also means we need to be clever with what we have left – enter The Contents Pouch sizes A4 and A3 (just like sheets of paper). Honestly, there are still a few small patches of fabric that are left over once all our products have been cut, but you’ll be glad to know that they are not wasted. The remnants of cutting go directly into the sewing school at Fabric Works, giving the students and trainees high quality fabric with which to learn.
