Fabric Works is a leading UK ethical clothing and textile manufacturer. They are a social enterprise, producing garments, homeware and textile items from their studio in East London. The all female team are commissioned by The Contents Bag throughout the year to manufacture small batch production runs. Each job is costed on the London living wage, so you can feel confident that your bag has been produced in ethical and fair working conditions.  It means that every purchase you make here, supports the education and employment of the team. If you're interested ...

The enterprise offers holistic support to the staff and students that work and learn at the studio. There are free training programmes to teach local women sewing skills. The Contents Bag donates all off-cuts to the training programs which means that we have minimal waste during production and the students get to work with high quality fabric and materials. Win, win.
